Bitcoin Segwit2X Futures Can Now Be Bought or Sold on HitBTC as of October 17, 2017

HitBTC http://bit.ly/2zk2Zto So you guys are probably aware that Bitcoin has two upcomming forks. The first being Bitcoin Gold which is happening on October 25, 2017. Bitcoin Gold has gotten a lot of criticism and honestly I don't see the price comming out that high nor do I see much support for the coin. We also however have the Segwit2X fork which is going to be happening either on November 1, or on or around November 18, I'm still unclear on which date. Anyhow, as of October 17, 2017 so yesterday, HitBTC is allowing you to sell your Bitcoin Segwit 2X futures before it's even released. You can also buy futures as well. Now back during the Bitcoin Cash fork HitBTC was allowing to do this as well and people were selling their futures for at or above $1300. Bitcoin Cash never reached that price again so the people who sold their futures faired better than others. HitBTC also handled that situation very well. I personally use a Trezor and it took Trezor a few days to get things in order so I could claim my Bitcoin Cash, and even after I had claimed it most exchanges had shut down deposits and withdrawls of both Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash for a few days following the fork so even if you had yours you couldn't get them on an exchange to sell them. The people who had their coins on exchanges like HitBTC or Bittrex not only got their coins right away, but because they were already on an exchange they were able to trade them right away and got high prices where as Bitcoin Cash fell shortly after that. So in short for anyone wondering what exchanges are going to support both Segwit2X and Bitcoin Gold HitBTC has come out and said they will support both and since they handled the last one well I may use them for these upcomming forks. What I'll personally probably wind up doing is keeping a bit on HitBTC, a bit on Bittrex and the rest on my Trezor. I don't believe Bittrex has specifically come out and made a statement with specifics about Bitcoin Gold or Segwit 2X but I would imagine they will support both as they supported Bitcoin Cash. If you have anything to add or know of other exchanges supporting either or both forks please drop a comment below
