Is there such thing as a device that letterboxes a 16:9 HDMI signal into a 16:10 signal?

Basically my SNES mini gets the left and right chunk of pixels cut off to facilitate my 16:10 monitor. I was wondering if there was a hardware solution to convert it to a letterboxed 16:10 resolution.
