How To Activate Office 2021 for FREE using KMS client key

You know that for the last fourteen years, Microsoft Office version numbers have all been named after Office 2007 according to a simple arithmetic sequence with a difference of 3 each. Despite the fate, a new version of the Microsoft productivity suite has been released. The successor to Office 2019 will be officially named Office 2021, not Office 2022, on October 5. You'll be interested to know what's new in this version, which changes their product naming convention. Is it worth upgrading your old productivity suite? Let's clarify now.

What's new in Office 2021

Some new features are added in this 2021 version. You get a new dark mode, real-time co-authoring, editing tools, functions, motion graphics, improved features and more. For more details check the official article here. Right now I'm using Office 2019 because the new stuff in version 2021 isn't enough to upgrade me. Maybe I'll reconsider it in the future but not now.

Download and install Office 2021

First, make sure that the version of the operating system you are running is Windows 10 or later before you begin. There is no way to install Office 2021 on Windows 8 or earlier.

Go here to get the MS Office 2021 official download link from Microsoft. The size of the IMG file is 4.2 GB. Once the download is complete, double-click the file to mount it to a virtual drive on your computer. Follow the instructions of the Setup Wizard to install Office 2021 on your Windows.

What is KMS Keys?

KMS (Key Management Service) is one of the methods to activate Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Activation ensures that the software is obtained from and licensed by Microsoft. KMS is used by volume license customers, usually medium to large businesses, schools, and non-profits.

To use KMS, you need to have a KMS host available on your local network. Computers that activate with a KMS host need to have a specific product key. This key is sometimes referred to as the KMS client key, but it's formally known as a Microsoft Generic Volume License Key (GVLK). Computers that are running volume licensing editions of Windows Server and Windows client are, by default, KMS clients with no extra configuration needed as the relevant GVLK is already there.

How To Activate Office 2021 for FREE using KMS client key

Method 1: Running CMD commands manually

Just go to seach and type CMD and click run as administrator option, then run all commands below one by one. (make sure to open cmd program with administrator rights)

Method 2: Using my pre-written batch script 

(This one is not recommended anymore due to the new update of Microsoft)

Copy the script code below into a new text document.

then paste the batch script and save as the file with names as office.cmd Once you saved then go to the saved file location then right click office.cmd file then click "run as administrator" Finally you will get the successfully activated  message in command line. 

Here is the KMS client key of Office 2021: FXYTK-NJJ8C-GB6DW-3DYQT-6F7TH.

The Office 2021 KMS license is valid for 180 days only but it can be renewed automatically so you needn’t worry so much about the period.
